Checking attendees in
Admit attendees on the day by QR, search, or tap; undo mistakes; track live numbers; export afterwards.
Check-in is the day-of tool for admitting attendees. It requires check-in enabled on the event (Configure tab); once on, open the event and go to the Check-in tab. Every action is instant and reflected in a live admitted-versus-expected counter.
Three ways to admit
| Method | How | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Scan QR | Point your device camera at the ticket's QR code | Fast, high-volume doors |
| Search | Type a name, phone, or booking reference, then admit the match | Attendees without their QR handy |
| Tap | Tap an attendee in the list to admit manually | Walk-ups and exceptions |
Single-use codes
QR codes are single-use. Admitting marks the code used, so a ticket can't be scanned in twice - a duplicate scan is rejected rather than silently re-admitting.
Undoing a check-in
Admitted someone by mistake? Revoke their admission to set them back to not-admitted; their QR becomes valid again so they can be scanned in properly.
Live stats & export
The screen shows admitted vs expected in real time as people arrive. Afterwards, export the full check-in list to CSV for records or reconciliation - see Exporting your data.
